YONDERA INTERACTIVE LIMITED (“we,” “us” or “our”) is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy. Our registered office is Unit 1021, Beverley Commercial Centre, 87-105 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Contact our privacy and support team at support@yondera.ai.
This Policy covers the MoreUs app offered through its United States service configuration, related support and this informational website. A service configured for another region may be subject to a separate notice. Language selection does not determine the processing region or announce availability in every country.
1. Important information
MoreUs is for adults aged 18 or older. Submitted photos must depict adults only. Photos of minors are not permitted, including when submitted by a parent or guardian. Our Children’s Photo Protection Rules explain reporting and removal.
Natural touch-ups and composition take place on your device. Creating animal counterparts involves uploading selected photo content to cloud services, including third-party AI image-processing and safety services. Photo processing is not entirely on your phone. The app presents information and requests the permission required for that processing before submission.
We do not automatically publish your creations, sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or use your photos to train general-purpose artificial intelligence systems. Optional human photo-quality review is separate from the processing needed to create a result.
2. Information we collect and use
| Category | Information and purposes |
|---|---|
| Photos and creations | Photos you select or capture, re-encoded original and adjusted versions submitted for cloud creation, generated images and previews, creative selections, creation identifiers, account association, timestamps and status. Used to provide creations, access your library and address related problems. The adjusted version is used to generate a counterpart; the original is also stored by MoreUs for the disclosed service and troubleshooting purposes. |
| Local adjustments | Face positions and local feature information used on your device for counting and natural touch-ups. These are not used by MoreUs to recognize identity or match a person across photos, and are not uploaded as identity templates. Photos containing faces are nevertheless received by cloud processors. |
| Account and access | Sign-in account identifiers, authentication information, protected sessions and, during controlled testing, invitation and installation identifiers. Used to authenticate access, manage allowances and protect the service. We do not request your Apple password. |
| Purchases and benefits | Product and transaction identifiers, verification information, purchase or refund status, benefits and relevant timestamps. Used for verification, restoration, refunds and accounting where applicable. Testing transactions are distinct from real purchases. We do not receive full payment-card details. |
| Feedback and usage events | Feedback you submit and first-party save or system-share completion events, including the related creation, account, layout, branding choice and time. Used to understand service operation and improve the product, without advertising profiles. A share-completion event does not show that a destination published a post. |
| Support and security | Contact and case information you provide, necessary network information such as IP addresses, error information, technical usage records and access records. Used for support, safety, reliability, fraud prevention and rights requests. |
| Website access | Request and connection information processed by our hosting and security providers to deliver and protect the website. This website does not provide photo uploads, advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. |
Photos are re-encoded to remove original file metadata such as EXIF. This does not remove faces, visible text, landmarks or other identifying details within an image. Do not submit identity documents, financial or medical information, or unrelated private material.
The app’s photo features do not require microphone, contacts, precise-location or advertising-tracking permissions. Device permissions govern camera access, photo selection and saving. Exported reveal animations are silent. Sharing through your device does not give MoreUs access to your social-account credentials or contact list.
3. Purposes and permissions
We process information to provide the features you request, authenticate and protect accounts, administer benefits, support users, handle rights and safety concerns, meet applicable legal obligations and improve the service within the disclosed scope. The legal grounds for processing depend on applicable law and the activity involved.
You must obtain the required permissions of the other adult participants before submitting a photo. We also remain responsible for our own notice, security and rights-handling obligations. A general agreement to the Terms does not replace a separate permission required for photos, third-party AI processing or an optional purpose.
Optional human photo-quality review requires a separate voluntary choice and the necessary participant permissions. You can decline it without losing basic creation features or valid purchased benefits. You can withdraw that permission through the creation controls or by contacting us. Withdrawal applies prospectively and does not invalidate processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
First-party operational events and voluntary feedback are distinct from advertising tracking. We do not represent that the app currently offers an independent setting for every usage event. Contact us or delete the related creation or account to request stopping or removing linked information, subject to necessary restricted records.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose information as necessary to the following categories of recipients:
- Hosting, storage, backup and security providers, to operate and protect our website and application services.
- Third-party AI image-generation and content-safety providers, to process the submitted image and necessary creative selections and perform safety checks. MoreUs does not intentionally include your sign-in identifier or send the separately stored original-photo copy for counterpart generation. The submitted image may itself identify a person.
- Authentication and app-store services, to sign in, verify purchases and manage relevant testing or transaction services. Those services also process information independently under their own policies.
- Support and communications providers, to handle messages and rights requests you send to us.
- Recipients you choose, when you save or share through your device. Those recipients manage their copies under their own rules.
We require service providers acting on our behalf to process information for the permitted purposes and provide appropriate protection. We do not authorize use of submitted photos as training datasets. This does not mean a provider never retains information: necessary security, abuse-prevention, legal or safety-review records may remain under its applicable terms, and safety concerns may require restricted human review. We do not claim universal zero retention or immediate simultaneous deletion by every recipient.
Authorized personnel may access necessary material for support you request, security incidents, complaints and legal obligations. Additional human quality review requires the separate permission described above. Access must remain proportionate to its purpose.
We may disclose information when required by lawful process or necessary to protect rights or safety, subject to applicable law. If information is transferred in a corporate transaction, applicable protections and required notices continue to apply. A transaction does not automatically authorize an unrelated new purpose.
5. Processing locations
The United States service uses application hosting and primary service storage in the United States. Our operator is based in Hong Kong. Authorized support or administration and service-provider processing may involve other jurisdictions; a United States application server does not establish that every operation occurs exclusively there.
We apply the notices, permissions, contractual measures and other safeguards required by applicable law for international processing. Please contact us if you need more information about the handling relevant to a particular service or privacy request.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep personal information only for the period needed for its disclosed purpose or a specific applicable legal requirement. Different categories have different retention criteria; the longest period for one category does not apply to all information.
| Category | Retention and deletion criteria |
|---|---|
| Creation media | Free creation media is normally available for 7 days from creation. Unlocked media is normally available for 90 days from unlocking, or from successful completion when created directly using a paid allowance. You can request earlier deletion. These periods concern MoreUs cloud media, not every local or provider copy. |
| Temporary processing copies | Removed after processing completes or fails. Other copies retained for the creation follow the media rules above. |
| Account and creation records | Used while needed to provide the account, library, benefits and related support. Media expiry and deletion of a database record are separate processes. Deleting a creation or account removes the corresponding ordinary records; minimal necessary records may remain for a separately justified purpose. |
| Feedback and usage records | Retained for the relevant service and improvement purpose. Linked records are removed with the related creation or account, subject to minimal necessary evidence retained for a lawful purpose. |
| Security, permission and abuse-prevention records | Retained only as necessary to protect the service, demonstrate permissions, resolve actual disputes or comply with a specific legal obligation. A hashed identifier that can still be matched to an account is not automatically anonymous. Such records must not be reused for unrelated analysis or advertising. |
| Financial records | Applicable Hong Kong business record-keeping requirements may require relevant records for at least 7 years. This concerns necessary financial evidence and does not require keeping photos, ordinary usage events or all account data for that period. |
| Support and privacy requests | Retained as needed to handle and evidence the request and meet applicable record-keeping duties. Where applicable California rules require it, minimal consumer-request and response records are retained for at least 24 months and restricted to their permitted compliance purposes. |
| Backups | Existing backup copies may remain for additional time after active-system deletion. They are subject to restricted disaster-recovery and security use and an appropriate retirement cycle. Any restoration must respect applicable deletion requests and restrictions. Backup retention is not permission to continue ordinary use of deleted information. |
A legal hold or other binding obligation may require limited additional retention. Only the necessary information may be retained, with restricted use and a documented reason and end condition. A possible future use does not justify indefinite storage.
You can delete cloud creations through the library, request account deletion in Settings, or contact us. The app also keeps local working copies, caches, pending requests, temporary exports and finished creations you choose to save. Cloud expiry does not delete every local file, device backup or copy saved to Photos. Manage copies on other devices and sharing destinations through the relevant device or service.
We assist with processor-side deletion as applicable, but cannot guarantee immediate disappearance of copies outside our control. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; you may manage it separately or proceed with deletion immediately.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction, deletion, withdrawal of permission, restriction, objection or portability. A person depicted in a photo may request assistance without owning the uploader’s account. We do not require you to create an account solely to submit a request.
Email support@yondera.ai with your request and information sufficient to locate the relevant account or creation. We may proportionately verify identity or authority while protecting other people’s information. Do not send passwords, complete identity documents or unnecessary photos unless a justified verification process is explained.
We respond within the applicable statutory period and explain any permitted extension or reason we cannot fulfill a request. Where Hong Kong law applies, qualifying access requests are generally handled within 40 days. Where applicable California law requires it, relevant consumer requests are generally handled within 45 days, subject to a lawful extension with notice. Other applicable local deadlines and rights remain available.
Relevant US state laws may also provide rights to opt out of sales, certain advertising sharing or profiling, limit certain sensitive-information uses and appeal a decision. We do not sell information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or make automated profiling decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable rights.
Request review through the same email address. You may complain to a competent regulator, including Hong Kong’s Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data or an applicable US authority. Device settings also let you manage camera and photo permissions.
8. Security
We use measures appropriate to the nature and risks of processing, including protected transport, access controls and safeguards for credentials and storage. No measure eliminates every risk. We respond to personal-information incidents and provide notices to affected people and authorities where required.
Please protect your device and sign-in credentials. Requests involving another person’s photo, account or records are handled with regard to that person’s privacy and the requester’s authority.
9. Children and minors
We do not offer accounts or photo processing to minors and do not permit adults to submit their photos. If we learn of an underage user or a submitted photo involving a minor, we assess the concern, restrict relevant processing and remove or otherwise handle information as required by law. A parent, guardian or affected person may contact us without an account.
An adult-only rule does not remove duties that arise from actual knowledge or applicable children’s-privacy law. See our Children’s Photo Protection Rules.
10. Changes and contact
We identify the version and effective date of this Policy. Material changes will be notified through an appropriate channel. We obtain new permission before a new purpose when required; publication or continued use alone does not provide that permission.
